As the owner and founder of Strictly Bulldogs based in Pittsburgh, Pa., I specialize in breeding bulldogs. I have been breeding dogs since I was 19 years old when I started with the chow-chow. I was successful in breeding chows for about 4 years. The reason I parted with them is because they were temperamental and because of their required grooming needs. So I began breeding pit bulls and did that for another four years.  

Soon after, I bought my first Olde English Bulldog even though I was new to the rare breed. I learned as much as possible about them. I wanted a dog that was not too big and could live up to 10 to 12 years.  I like American Bulls but they are just too big and I decided on an Olde. I immediately fell in love with this breed. I found Oldes to be great with kids and other animals. I bought another Olde and began to breed them.  

Today, my Olde breeding program is over 7 years old. All of my dogs are my own line and are generational, allowing me to use my own kennel name, Strictly Bulldogs. It was a long hard road to get to this point, but well worth it. It is never easy breeding any type of animal. It involves a lot of financial investment, time commitment and hard work.
